Panorama ABC
1. Definition
Panorama refers to a picture of more than normal effective visual angle of two eyes (about 90° horizontally, 70° vertically) or visual angle eye corner (about 180° horizontally, 90° vertically), or even 360° complete scene range.

2. Classification
Cylindrical panorama
As the name implies, cylindrical panorama means to imagine the space as a cylinder, so that you can’t see the top and bottom of Cylindrical panorama and you can only look around. There’s only connection of plane pictures but no perspective-correct, so it is lack of space impression during browse. It is relatively simpler for the realization of Cylindrical panorama.

Cubic panorama
Cubic panorama means to imagine the space as a cube; a Cubic panorama comprises six pictures from the directions: up, down, left, right, front and back. There’s not any direct spitting tool for Cubic panorama, however, the browsing speed is very fast. 360° Panorama of Quicktime VR is a Cubic panorama.

Spherical panarama
Spherical panarama means to imagine the space as a sphere, a Spherical panarama refers to a picture of 2:1, 360° horizontally and 180° vertically.

How to remove it from your panorana tour? well,the answer is very simple-----you just remove it with PW 8. Tripod moving feature make your panorama tour flawless.
NOTICE:
1.Before removing tripod you need to stitch you pictures or import the panorama first then convert panoramic image into cubic image.
2. After you have removed the tripod you need to convert the Cubic image into Spherical image.
Below is the short introduction to how to remove Tripod in Panorama tour with PW 8.

NOTICE: 1.Before removing tripod you need to stitch you pictures or import the panorama first then convert panoramic image into cubic image.

Find the "Remove Tripod" you will see this tab and click OK to convert Spherical image into Cubic image.

you can see the progressing bar "Converting panoramic image to cubic image".

After you have Converted panoramic image to cubic image,you can see the Tripod in Cubic image.

Just click Remove Tripod again,you can see this interface. click Remove to start to edit.

To edit it and mark the Tripod area. you can adjust the green dot when marking the tripod.

In this cubic image, you can see the tripod has been removed.

After Tripod has been removed, you need to convert cubic image into spherical image.

How to Stitch HDR Panorama by using Panorama software-Panoweaver 8

Stitch RAW pictures into panoram image with Panoweaver.

Easypano provides users as many features as possible in Panoweaver 8.

Create HDR image from Bracket exposure or directly from Camera RAW files. This feature is supported in Professional and Batch editions.

A camera raw image file contains minimally processed data from the image sensor of either a digital camera, image scanner, or motion picture film scanner. Raw files are so named because they are not yet processed and therefore are not ready to be printed or edited with a bitmap ?graphics editor. Normally, the image is processed by a raw converter in a wide-gamut internal colorspace where precise adjustments can be made before conversion to a "positive" file format such as TIFF or JPEG for storage, printing, or further manipulation, which often encodes the image in a device-dependent colorspace. These images are often described as "RAW image files", although there is not actually one single raw file format. In fact there are dozens if not hundreds of such formats in use by different models of digital equipment (like cameras or film scanners).

Below is the brief introduction to how to stitch RAW files into panorama.

please select Camera Raw Files and import your RAW files into Panoweaver 8.

After you have imported the RAW files you can see this tab in which you can make your selections.

Click "OK" you can see this progressing bar decoding the Raw files.

As you can see in this screenshot, RAW files are loading.

After loading Raw files, you can see this tab. the system will automatically select the image type.

Select the type of panorama you want to create.

Click the Stitch Icon to stitch RAW files.

How to add Bing Map /Google Map in Panorama tour

Add Google map or Bing map into your panorama with Panoweaver.

Easypano provides users as many features as possible in panoweaver 8.

Google map is available to users who had already had valid API key. Bing map is for all users.

As you may know Google map is now only available to users who used to have API KEY. As an replacement,Easypano new users can have access to Bing map now;

1.For those who already have a Google API Key, you can continue to use it in Panoweaver / Tourweaver.

2. If you don’t have a Google Key you can apply for a Bing map key and use it in Panoweaver / Tourweaver.

Below is the brief introduction to how to insert Google map or Bing map into Button in your Panorama tour.

please import the panorama into panoweaver 8.

Find "Publish Icon" to click it, you can see this tab. please go to "Flash" tab to make selection for "Control Button---- settings"

Click Google map/Bing map Icon to place the buttton.

Enter your Google API key or Bing map API key in the Red Area; click Icon "Google /Bing map settings" to make settings in the smaller tab on the left.

You can also customize the icon of the Button.

Click Publish to publish the panorama after you have made all the settings,

2. When you want to import Panorama, please make sure that you find the Icon Import Panoramic Image and then click it, otherwise it is impossible to make Little Planet? Effect.

Find the Icon "Convert between Spherical and little Planet" to either convert Spherical into Little Planet or convert Little Planet into Spherical.

When you click the Icon "Convert between Spherical and little Planet". you can see this tab and choose "Depression Angle" or " Elevation Angle"

After you have made the settings you will see this progressing bar.

This shows what the Little Planet looks like when you select "Elevation angle".

2.Little planet panorama images embedded in the Universe: please go to "Apply Little Planet Effect ".

When you select the "Apply Little Planet Effect ", then you can see this tab in which you can also choose "Elevation Angle" or " Depression Angle" and adjust the display size.

3.If you want to publish it in Flash VR format,you can select "Intial Little Planet Effect" as well as set the duration of little planet effect

• Equipment: Nikon D200 + 17-55mm lens

Fisheye Photos: There are several types of fisheye photos. How to Shoot fisheye photos?

• Full Circular Fisheye Photos: It has a 180° angle of view in all directions. Equipment: Canon 1Ds markII + Sigma 8mm Fisheye lens
• Drum Fisheye Photos: If you attach DSLR with Focal length multiplier>1 to Sigma 8mm f4 EX fisheye lens, the two margins in the final fisheye images will be cut. We call it drum fisheye Photos derived from its shape. Equipment: Canon 10D + Sigma 8mm Fisheye lens
• Full Frame Fisheye Photos: It has a 180° angle of view only on the diagonal line. Equipment: Nikon D70 + 10.5 mm lens (upper shot); Nikon D200 + 10.5 mm lens (lower shot)
• Wide-angle Photos : Its horizontal field of view should reach 75 °at least. Equipment: Nikon D50 + 10.5 mm lens

How to use Mask in Panoweaver8

To Display or Hide the specific part of the panorama with Panoweaver. Easypano provides users as many features as possible in Panoweaver 8. Do you want to show or hide the specific parts in your Panorama? are you annoyed that sometimes you want to make a perfect panorama tour,but some parts of the picture just don't match with each other? Well, Mask feature in Panoweaver is the answer. it's very easy for you to hide or display what you want to be seen or what you don't want to be seen in your panorama. Below is a brief introduction to how to hide or display what you want or don't want to be seen in Panorama.

The two images are created with Panoweaver. the picture on the left you can only see the Blue car when the Black car is hidden; on the right, the Blue car is hidden,the Black car is displayed.

This image shows how the two cars affact the panorama effect. this looks terrible in a Panorama,that's why you need to hide or display one of the cars to make your panorama perfect.

Please go to Edit Image MASK in the tab on the right of your panoweaver and find Set Invisible Area to hide what you don't want to be seen.

After you have edited it, you can only see the part you want to be seen.
